The middle school’s Summer Academy is designed to give your child very small group instruction so he/she can master the skills that have proven difficult during the school year. The Academy will run from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm, July 6 -August 14, 2009 at RMS.   Each child will have an hour of reading and writing instruction and an hour of math instruction. The last hour will be used to create small group projects that relate to the grade level expectations in Science and Social Studies.  There will be six field trips during the summer to support these projects.  The projects will be presented to parents and the community at the end of the summer.
