The seventh grade Evolution Team has been studying three simplified versions of Shakespeare’s plays. In the fall, they were introduced to Shakespeare when they travelled to Weston to see “As You Like It”. To follow up this study, students attended a performance of “Romeo and Juliet” at the Paramount Theater on Friday, March 6^th. In order to qualify to go, students needed to write a paragraph telling why they would like to attend this performance. Thirty-four students expressed interest in going and all had an enjoyable and enriching learning experience.
