Clubs, Committees and Activities
School-sponsored organizations and co-curricular activities are designed to provide students with an opportunity to participate in a topic or field they find enjoyable and worthwhile. Research also indicates that students who participate in such activities do better and feel better about their school experience.
Rutland Middle School offers a wide variety of co-curricular and interscholastic athletic activities. These are listed below along with the adviser and a phone extension (the school number is 773-1960) so you can get more information. Some of these activities have already started. Meeting times are listed for these groups. Other activities have either not started or require a selection process to determine participation (such as the Student Council or Jazz Lab).
