The music departments at RIS and RMS are selling car magnets from March 3 through March 23.  The magnets are $8 each and are black, red, and white.  To purchase one or for more information, contact Carol Baker at #786-1811.

RIS does not participate in formal athletics, but is involved closely with the Rutland Recreation Department in this area. Parents and Guardians are encouraged to contact the Rutland Recreation Department for a schedule of activities.

Monday, March 3rd, was “Read across America Day.” This year’s celebration marked Dr. Suess’s 104th birthday. Celebrity readers from across Rutland County helped with the celebration by coming to RIS and reading his books to children. Pictured here are Mrs. Devost’s 3rd grade class along with Rutland City Mayor Chris Louras donning handmade Cat in the Hat toppers after a lively reading session!
