The RHS Jazz Ensemble will once again be performing in the Flynn Jazz Festival at the Flynn Center in Burlington.  The 2010 festival will be held on Tuesday, March 9.

The 19th Annual Flynn Jazz Festival will feature 26 high school jazz ensembles from around the state, all adjudicated by a panel of judges.

Details:

• Depart RHS for Flynn Center: 8:30 a.m.  Students should be in their concert dress (all black, white ties for the guys)
• Arrive at the Flynn Center: Approximately 10:00 a.m.  Students will listen to performances from 10-11:00 a.m.
• Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – Church Street Marketplace, on your own (students must stay in groups of 3 or more).  Bring a lunch or money to buy lunch!
• Meet in Flynn Center lobby: 12:15 p.m.
• Warm-up: 12:30 p.m.
• Performance: 1:00-1:30 p.m. in FlynnSpace
• Depart Flynn Center for RHS: 2:00 p.m.
• Arrive at RHS: Approximately 4:00 p.m.

All Jazz Ensemble students must complete their 3rd quarter scale requirements by March 17.
