Recently, the Vermont Department of Education announced a list of schools which are eligible under federal guidelines to receive additional funds to continue school improvement efforts. While Rutland High School appreciates the opportunity to fund its continued efforts to serve our students better, the funding comes with a designation that we feel does not at all reflect the good work that our staff and students do here.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
We have been notified by the Vermont Department of Health that the Flu Vaccine Clinics that have been scheduled in our schools have been postponed, due to the lack of a sufficient supply of the vaccine.
The new dates, as of Wednesday, October 28 are:
- Northwest Primary School, Pierpoint, Howe Center November 9
- Northeast Primary School and SUCCESS November 17
- Rutland Intermediate and Middle Schools December 9
- Rutland High School and Stafford Technical Center December 8
The dates for the second vaccination that is required for the children under 9 years of age are:
- Northwest Primary School and Pierpoint December 15
- Northeast Primary School and SUCCESS December 17
- Rutland Intermediate School January 7
We will keep you informed of any further changes as/if they develop.
In the meantime, please be very sure that you have returned your child’s permission form if you have not already done so.
