Classroom Spotlight: A Special Guest at RHS
The RHS Audio Visual Communications class, who deliver the daily announcements to the student body via closed circuit TV, had the opportunity to hear and learn from Fox 44 Weather Anchor, and 2004 RHS graduate, Kerrin Jeromin as she visited their class on Friday, October 9th. Kerrin shared with the students how and why she wanted to study meteorology, how she got to where she is and what a typical day in her shoes is like as a TV Anchor. Kerrin was able to critique the students in their delivery of the announcements and even helped deliver the Pumpkin Princess announcement. This experience was to enlighten our students to the many career possibilities in the media field.
Kerrin grew up in Mendon and went to Lyndon State College where she studied Meteorology and shared the various career opportunities that are here in Vermont. The Audio Visual Communications class is very appreciative of Ms. Jeromin’s expertise and time she spent with them.
