Celebrating 50 Years of Graduates

Rutland City Public Schools pay tribute to graduating class of 50 years ago each year at our June commencement ceremony. The ceremony this year is scheduled for June 13th at 6:00 PM at the Spartan Arena. A letter was sent out in late April, explaining the schedule for the day. It includes a reception at the Rutland High School lobby at 4:00 pm, some time for greeting classmates, and a class photograph. Alumni and their spouses will then be transported to the site of the ceremony, Spartan Arena, behind the Diamond Run Mall. After the diplomas are awarded, we will return to the Rutland High School; arriving by approximately 7:30 pm

The Vermont Academy of Science and Engineering (VASE) is pleased to announce the awarding of six competitive equipment grants to K-12 educators in Vermont. VASE recognizes the need to interest more students in Science and Engineering careers in order to support the State’s ambitious economic and quality of life goals.
