Golden Anniversary festivities include reception at Rutland High prior to presentation of honorary diploma.

Class members will receive an invitation letter in the early spring with more details.

Rutland High School Class of 1999 Reunion
Location: Noel’s Restaurant, 74 U.S. Route 4, Mendon, VT
Date: August 8, 2009
Time: 6-11pm

Please join us for an evening of food, photos and music. We have reserved the tavern, deck, and spacious lawn area at this new restaurant. You may remember it as “Churchill’s”. It is now owned by former RIS teacher Sarah Irish. Her chef and staff have helped us come up with a tasty menu and will be available all evening to run the cash bar. We will take a group photo @ 8pm.

Ticket price is $25 per person. Please RSVP to Sally Olson (solson1030@yahoo.com) as soon as possible. Due to the last-minute nature of this invitation, we will accept rsvp’s up until the day of the reunion. Please let us know if you intend to bring a guest.

The RHS Class of 1979 Reunion Committee is looking for Fellow Classmates!!!

The Rutland High School Class of 1979, 30th Reunion will be held in Rutland,VT, Columbus Day Weekend, October 9 – 11, 2009. The Reunion Weekend Event details will include: a Friday afternoon School Tour of the old and new Rutland High School locations; a Friday evening Icebreaker Social at the South Station Restaurant; and, a Saturday evening Reunion Dinner at the Franklin Conference Center at Howe Center.

The Event details including ticket costs and online purchasing instructions will be communicated through email and posted on the Facebook Reunion Group page, “Rutland High School Class of ‘79 Reunion.”

Currently there are over 100 other RHS ‘79 Classmates already members of this Facebook Reunion Group page and over 260 old class photos posted there.

Facebook is a free networking site. All you have to do is go to: www.facebook.com, register and then set up your own page. When you fill out your profile include, “Rutland Senior High School ‘79″ in the Education section. This will make it easier for us to find each other. Once you register on Facebook, you may then join the Reunion Group and Reunion Event pages. We hope you decide to join us on Facebook.

The Reunion Committee is still looking for Classmates, please continue to help find Classmates, invite them to join us on Facebook and collect their email addresses.

Class of 1964 will hold their 45th reunion on September 25th, 26th and 27th, 2009. There will be a get-together Friday, Septembmer 25th at 7:00 p.m. at South Station Restaurant, Route 7 South, in Rutland, Vermont. There will also be a luncheon on Saturday, September 26th from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., also at South Station. The class is trying to put together a golf day on September 25th.
